Dans une magnifique vallée au-dessus de la station de Luchon, dans un petit village tranquille à proximité des pistes de Peyragudes, ancienne ferme traditionnelle pyrénéenne, totalement indépendante, offrant de beaux volumes et un espace extérieur privatif aménagé pour profiter de la vue et des beaux jours !
Situated in the small village of Cazeaux-de-Larboust, between the resorts of Peyragudes (slopes visible from the solarium) and Bagnères-de-Luchon, this gîte is perfect for welcoming family or friends to the mountains in summer or winter.
All outdoor activities are possible within a 20km radius: hiking from the gîte, skiing, snowshoeing, dog sledding 5km away, fishing… Luchon is just 8km away; as well as all the shops and services you’ll need, you’ll find thermal baths, a beautiful aqualudic centre, a swimming pool, a golf course, a lake and a riding centre. The Pyrénées Hô adventure park is 23km away (accrobranche, climbing…) and Spain is 26km away. Children’s play area, tennis court and pétanque nearby. Fibre optic internet access.
The gîte is housed in a typical old Pyrenean farmhouse: access to the cobbled courtyard is via a porch (parking for 2 cars possible in front of the porch). The courtyard is surrounded by 3 U-shaped buildings :
– the stone house, dating from 1856, which houses the gîte’s sleeping quarters. Ground floor: large entrance hall with cloakroom and bookcase, storeroom (washing machine), WC with washbasin. 1st floor: 3 bedrooms, each with 1 double bed (160x200cm). One bedroom has its own private shower room/WC. Large shared shower room/WC. 2nd floor with sloping ceilings: 2 bedrooms (2 beds 90x200cm) (3 beds 90x200cm, study), shower room/WC.
– a barn converted throughout into a living room/kitchen: accessible from the house by a few steps, the barn houses the living room and its stove (integrated kitchen, large table for group meals, comfortable lounge, games area, reading area, music area (hi-fi system)). A covered balcony extends
– and the other barn opposite houses the covered terrace and solarium above. Water point in an outbuilding.
A low wall separates the 4th side of the courtyard from a meadow below (clothesline).
