The Fête des Fleurs returns to Luchon from 21 to 23 August 2026. After the great success of the 2025 edition, in a summer marked by the stage of the Tour de France and the CosmoJazz festival, this new edition awaits you for three days dedicated to floral art. On the programme: parades, floral arrangements and entertainment for all ages in the streets of the spa town.
Last year, accommodation was fully booked several weeks in advance, and access by train was a major factor in the success of the event. To make the most of the 2026 event, we strongly recommend that you book your accommodation now and take the train to Luchon without stress. The detailed programme will be announced in the coming months, but you can already put these dates in your diary to make sure you don’t miss this not-to-be-missed summer event.
The 2025 edition, whose theme was“Transport through time“, featured beautifully decorated floats representing the evolution of mobility: horse-drawn carriages, steam trains, vintage cars and modern vehicles. Hundreds of volunteers worked for weeks gluing together thousands of natural flowers, mainly queen daisies and marigolds. The festive atmosphere was ensured by the bandas and brass bands that livened up the streets throughout the weekend, culminating in the grand parade on the Allées d’Étigny on Sunday.
There are several options for getting to Luchon. By train, the Montréjeau-Luchon line takes you directly to the town centre from Toulouse via Montréjeau. This is a practical and environmentally-friendly solution that avoids the hassle of parking. By car, Luchon can be reached via the A64 Montréjean-Gourdan-Polignan exit, then the D125. Plan to arrive early on Sunday for the big parade, as it is very busy. Car parks are available on the outskirts of the town centre. For those travelling from further afield, Toulouse-Blagnac airport is around 1? hours away.
