It is a major climbing destination, both for its sporting interest and for its huge number of routes of all styles and almost all difficulties, but also for the beauty of the place and its surroundings. From the nearby lake, the main cliff with its large roof presents a breathtaking panorama.

Generally speaking all the routes have character and combine technique, physicality, sometimes sheer strength and impeccable footing. A historic site with some difficult routes, its ratings are generally quite tight.
The Grande Falaise (right sector) is classified as an adventure area. The small cliff (sector A) is classified as a sports site. The sectors face due south and are not suitable for climbing in very hot weather.
