Description

In this work, the artist offers his contemporary and highly personal interpretation of the animal totem of Saint-Béat.
In ancient times, the place was known as Passus Lupi, meaning ‘the passage of the wolves’.
This legend recalls that only gaunt wolves could make their way through these narrow mountains.

Marion Rivière works mainly in marble and bronze. She specialises in animal representations and portraits. She now lives in Australia.
