Description

Standing 110 cm high, the statue depicts a seated man holding a bird. He is trying to communicate with it by whistling to imitate its song. The artist wanted to express the tenderness we feel for the animals that inhabit the world.

Olivier Delobel, who lives near Narbonne, trained in marble sculpture in Carrara (Italy) in the late 1990s. He specialises in portraits and animal representations. He works in terracotta, bronze and marble. He has completed numerous commissions in France and abroad.
