Puel Mary Villard, a painter and applied arts teacher with a fine arts degree specialising in advertising, is a true colourist with a passion for a variety of mediums including watercolour, chalk, acrylic, oil and collage.
Opening on Saturday 8 November at 6.30pm.
She expresses her creativity through painting and graphics, playing with gradations and shapes that juxtapose and superimpose harmoniously. Inspired by her travels around the world, particularly in the south of France, she captures and transcribes visual moments onto her canvases with rhythmic improvisations. Her works, with their flamboyant colours, capture the light in a striking way and offer a real visual journey that allows you to escape from everyday life.
