Christophe Maruffy, author of “Une aventure humaine” is a former officer in the French Army, trained at the École militaire préparatoire in Autun and then at Saint-Cyr, Christophe Maruffy has devoted more than forty years of his life to military service.
During his time in the Armoured Cavalry, the Foreign Legion and the Airborne Troops, he developed a deep understanding of human dynamics, collective service and resilience.
It was during his missions, particularly in Sarajevo in 1995, that Christophe Maruffy discovered the power of poetic writing to convey the emotions and questions raised by his experiences in the field. The father of seven children and deeply attached to his faith, his writing tackles universal themes such as memory, transmission and the quest for meaning.
During this conference, the public will have the opportunity to hear his poetic work.
At this conference, the public will be able to discover his work and his singular journey, and discuss with the author his poems and texts, which bear witness to a life of action and reflection.
