Come and let yourself be carried away by the stories, listen to the voices that share, take you on a journey, make you dream.
Lire et faire is celebrating its 25th anniversary. For a quarter of a century, the association, supported by the Ligue de l’enseignement and the Union nationale des associations familiales, has been forging precious links between generations through books. Across France, in French departments and overseas, including Canada, Switzerland and Poland, at precisely 11am, thousands of volunteers over the age of 50 will get together, open a book and offer children a bubble of discovery, escape and imagination.
In schools, crèches, nurseries, schools for the elderly and children’s homes, the Ligue de l’enseignement and the Union Nationale des Associations Familiales (UNAFA) are all involved.
In schools, crèches, libraries, parks and even on the radio, this great simultaneous reading will bring young and old together around the pleasure of books.
Each reading is a unique opportunity to get to know each other better.
Each reading is a unique opportunity to connect, dream together, and rediscover the pleasure of reading and listening to stories.
