David Haudrechy offers vocational trainees an unusual musical experience. Based on his own compositions (Initiative H, Endless, Sables Noirs) but also on the repertoire of composers who have influenced him (Carla Bley, Arvo Pärt, Danny Elfman, Duke Ellington, Lili Boulanger and many others), the idea is to build a suite or soundtrack to an imaginary film crossing different aesthetics and above all different feelings. Arrangement, meshing, transition, drone, ambient, epic rock and emotions to serve a story created in the moment.
The students come from the 2nd year of professional training at the ‘Music’Halle’ school of live music in Toulouse.

Big Fat Swing was born out of the desire to create a festive, danceable repertoire based around New Orleans Swing and Jazz, giving a fresh twist to this timeless, devilishly danceable popular music that the soul loves.
To the sound of brass instruments, strings and vocals, the 6 musicians of Big Fat Swing invite you to sweat to the colours of Jazz Hot and are sure to leave you feeling like the devil!
