In a context where ecological and environmental issues are complex and require ecologically sensitive responses, and with the desire to position herself as a player in the ecological transition, Sylvie Morais, artist-educator and head of CREAgir pour le vivant, has chosen to enrich and increase what we can know, feel, perceive, imagine, interpret and weave into our relationship with the living world through her training courses and creations.
Her path of research and creation is eco-biographical, writing in the first person, experienced as an exploration of the self. Linking the literary arts with the visual arts, the ecoartist’s books are printed and bound by hand. The artistic intention is to mobilise an interpretation of the self in the living flesh of relationships with our environment where we are not at the centre.
