Saint-Pé-d’Ardet has a remarkable natural and historical heritage:
– a natural lake with perfectly preserved flora and fauna,
– an 11th-century church with 15th-century frescoes,
– a 19th-century chapel and its Way of the Cross,
– an 18th-century wash-house.
The proximity of the ski slopes (Le Mourtis, Superbagnères and Peyragudes resorts) means that winter sports can be enjoyed in season.
In summer, the peaks of the Luchonnais attract walkers and experienced climbers.
Within a thirty-kilometre radius of Saint-Pé-d’Ardet, tourists can reach Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges and Saint-Just-de-Valcabrère on the route to Santiago de Compostela, the Val d’Aran in Spain, the marble town of Saint-Béat, the spa town of Bagnères-de-Luchon and its peaks over 3,000 metres high, as well as the remarkable natural site of the Barousse valley.
