Between steep valleys, forest paths and breathtaking panoramas, this loop takes you to the heart of the Pyrenean mountains, all the way to the village of Artigue, perched high above the highest peaks.

Description

From the very first steps, the path invites you to walk alongside the Pique, a tributary of the Garonne. The terrain soon rises through the forest, revealing some lovely viewpoints. The effort becomes noticeable as the gradient rises, but progress along these gentle paths remains fluid and pleasant. You then join a side path, which offers superb views of the Luchonnais Pyrenees all the way to the village of Artigue.
