ALIGNEMENT CROMLECH
Located in the communes of Billière and Benqué, between the Oueil and Larboust valleys, the megalithic site on the Espiau mountain has revealed another of its secrets.
BILLIEREThis is an “open” loop, so you’ll need to bring your hats in summer, but it’s ideal in winter because it’s so sunny. From these mysterious alignments, you can admire the typical Larboust and Oueil valleys and the resorts of Peyragudes and Superbagnères.
Leave from the village of Benqué-Dessus and follow the yellow and red GRP or yellow n°46 signs to the cromlechs. At the top, turn left down to the bench, then left again to return to Benqué.

BILLIERE
A 12th-century Romanesque church of granite and schist. The chapel, nave and choir feature numerous 16th-century frescoes, depicting in particular several saints, the birth of Mary, the birth of Jesus and six scenes from the Passion of Christ.
