From the Port de Balès, take the path 50 m before it, which will lead you to the Port de Pierrefitte via a track and then to the Lac de Bordères via a footpath.
Please note that dogs are not allowed in the Massif du Montious reserve.
Sporting option: From Bourg d’Oueil, follow the GRP signs (red and yellow) to reach Port de Pierrefitte. There you will have climbed 535 metres.
