Maison Jeanne is a traditional stone mountain house dating back to the 16th century.
This picturesque guest house is only 8 km from Luchon, in the pretty village of St Paul d’Oueil. Nestled in the beautiful Oueil valley, we can hear the deer strolling through the surrounding forest and hills.
If you enjoy the comforts of home and outdoor activities, Maison Jeanne really is for you! You’ll find a roaring fire, the rustic charm of wooden interiors, spacious rooms, fresh sheets and comfortable duvets.
A hearty breakfast made with local produce is served in the garden in summer or in the cosy dining room in winter. There is also a self-service bar (for a small supplement) with local wines as well as a selection of board games and books about the region.
With walking, cycling and skiing routes within easy reach of the house, Maison Jeanne is the ideal base for outdoor enthusiasts to discover the wonderful hidden faces of the Pyrenees in all seasons.
Maison Jeanne is also a haven from the hustle and bustle of the city and the stresses of everyday life. The house is surrounded by greenery with a magnificent view over the valley. The garden is open to our guests for a siesta or just to enjoy a glass of wine in the sunshine.
Situated at an altitude of 1080 metres and 8 km from Bagnères de Luchon, one of the largest ski areas in the Pyrenees and a renowned spa resort, there is plenty to discover around Maison Jeanne including the family-friendly resorts of Peyragudes, Superbagnères and Bourg d’Oueil, as well as the famous cols of the Tour de France.
