Description

The Musée Aéronautique Léon Elissalde is a must-see idea.
Covering a large part of the history of aeronautics from 1934 to the advent of Concorde, it is also, and above all, a tribute to all the crews who perished in the liberation of our country.
Most of the equipment on display was taken from wreckage that fell in the Pyrenees.

Part of the museum is devoted to post-war avionics, including a Rolls-Royce engine, a series of Turboshaft engines mounted on helicopters and flight trainers.
