The highly successful Luchon American Car 2023 is being transformed this year into Luchon Passion Auto, with a new twist that we wanted to open up to vintage and exceptional vehicles of all makes.
This exciting event is being organised by the Association des Commerçants et Artisans du Pays de Luchon (ACAPL) in partnership with the town of Bagnères de Luchon, which has agreed to use the allée d’Etigny for the occasion.
Programme :
Saturday 20 September :
– Between 10am and 12pm: Arrival of classic and exceptional vehicles on the allée d’Etigny
– From 2pm: Start of the ACAPL entertainment in front of the Town Hall or in the LAURET square, with refreshments, music, tombola… Possibility of a discovery tour in the prestige vehicles (€5/person)
– 3.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.: Hot-air balloon show, 20-metre high lift system (€5/person for children aged 10 and over, ½ price for children aged 5 to 10) + refreshment bar
– 6.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m.: Parade of Occitanie folk groups on the Allées d’Etigny
– 7.00 pm to 8.00 pm: Sambalek group (batucada) departing from the Town Hall forecourt
– 9.30pm to 11pm: MT70 concert in front of the Town Hall or in Square Lauret
– 11.15pm: Fireworks fired by ACAPL from Place Lézat or Saint-Mamet
Sunday 21st September :
– 9.00am to 10.30am: Radio ICI, interview with the owners of the vehicles – Music and Charlotte la marmotte strolls through the town
– 10.30am: Vehicles set up for parade
– 11am: Parade down the allée d’Etigny then up to the plateau of the Luchon-Superbagnères ski resort.
– 12pm: Arrival on the plateau, photos, aperitif and meal.
– 3.30pm: Dismantling of vehicles from the Luchon-Superbagnères plateau
