DOMINIQUE RICHARD EXHIBITION

I’ve loved drawing since I was a child, inheriting it from my mother, who used to do magnificent charcoal landscapes, and from my father, a house painter
and also a theatre decorator. I took pencil drawing classes at the Beaux-Arts in Bourges (where I learned portraiture) and published drawings between 1979 and 1982 in the newspaper “La Vendée Agricole”. I have an artist’s rating on the Artmajeur website, where I publish my work.
My favourite artists are the Impressionists in general, especially Van Gogh and Toulouse Lautrec. I’ve discovered a long-suppressed passion and invite you to take it up if you feel like it, because it’s only the first step that costs!
